School, 1867, a rebuilding for Sir George Beaumont. Central, single storey range of brick with dormer windows, and projecting gable wings of random granite rubble with jettied timber framing to gables. Brick chimney stacks with stone hoods. Roof projects over covered way running between the wings. Roofs patterned with red and black tiles. (Photo Apr 2009).
