Fragments of Monastic Buildings in Abbey Gardens

A Grade II Listed Building in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Trendell's Folly - mock remains of Abingdon Abbey

Uploader's Comments

Trendell's Folly, Trendell Gardens (was called Abbey Gardens), Abingdon.
An artificial ruin of Abingdon Abbey erected in the 1920s. However, some of the stones and two of the window heads are 15th Century salvaged remains of the original abbey.
