Farmhouse. Late C18, with rear extensions of 1826. Front walls of blue header
brickwork with flush red quoins and rubbed flat arches, brick dentil eaves: other
walls of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond with blue headers, cambered
openings. Tile roof to the main part, with gabled staircase wing at the rear, slate
roof of lower pitch (double pile) at the rear, ending as coupled hips. Near-
symmetrical south front of two storeys and attic,three windows. Sashes in exposed
frames. Doorcase of a dentilled Order, open pediment, panelled pilasters, arched
opening with panelled reveals, Gothic fanlight, 6-panelled (2 top glazed) door
above stone steps. The rear wings have upper sashes and lower casements, one
splayed bay (on the east wall) and plain doorways. Original staircase.
