Arches in basement of
Leicester Polytechnic,
SK 5804 SW 2/300 Hawthorn Building.
Two arches in basement of large late C19 and C20 building of little interest.
The arches are of the former Hospital of the Annunciation founded in 1331
by the Earl of Leicester - two small double-chamfered pointed arches of
unequal width, stone rubble infill.
