8/56 East and West Cottages,
Peatling Hall

Pair of cottages in a range incorporating stabling. Probably late C18.
Brick with Swithland slate roof. Stable to left with 2 doors with steep
cambered heads, then the cottages, which are 2 storeyed and have paired
casement windows with small panes, and outer doorways. Bullseye window over
door of West Cottage. Paired casement windows on 1st floor also. Central
cupola of wood forms dovecote and has ogival leaded cap
