House. Mid C18 with mid and late C19 and early C20 extensions and alterations. Red brick. Slate roof. North wing with 2 red brick ridge stacks, south wing with 2 similar gable stacks. South wing with shaped gable to the right. Raised eaves band, first floor band, set on a plinth. L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. North wing of 4 bays. 2 segmental arched openings now with large doorways with plank doors, concrete lintels and single tripartite casement overlights. To the right are 2 glazing bar sashes with 4 similar sashes above, all under segmental arches. The attic has 3 gabled wooden roof dormers each with single glazing bar sash. Attached to the left is a late C19 tower. Red brick with some blue brick diaper. Hipped slate roof topped with a wooden bell turret with arched openings, pyramidal slate roof and set onto a fishscale slate base. The tower with dentil eaves and set onto a plinth. Of 3 stages. Single rectangular narrow light to each stage. Projecting from the right of the C18 build is the south 5 bay wing. 2 storey, gabled, coped and projecting mid C19 porch with dentil eaves, first floor band and plinth. Segmental arched doorway with double door. The side walls each with single blocked arched openings. To the left are 2 glazing bar sashes with single blind recessed panels under. To the right is a 2 storey C20 projecting bay with 2 glazing bar sashes on each floor. The porch has on the first floor a single arched fixed light, to the left are 2 glazing bar sashes with single similar panels. Above are 3 similar roof dormers. Attached to the right and set back is a C19 cross wing with shaped gable, projecting from this is a single storey late C19 porch with panelled door, overlight and single pilasters supporting brackets and a hood. Either side are single narrow recessed shaped blind panels.
