6/178 Gatekeeper's hut
at pierhead to
south of dock


Gatekeeper's hut. Perhaps 1832. Stone. Octagonal with
deep eaves and corbelled roof with stone finial. 7 windows
and entrance with no frames. Attached machinery and tin
flue on urn finial. Brunswick dock dates from 1832 and was
J. Hartley's 1st dock work.
