TL 96 NW THURSTON GREAT GREEN

House, early C17. One storey and attics. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan (a 4th
cell to right may be a later addition). Timber-framed and plastered.
Pantiled roof (formerly plaintiled) with one C19 gabled casement dormer. An
axial chimney of C18 red brick. Late C19 casements. C19 gabled pantiled
porch at lobby-entrance position with half-glazed 4-panelled door. Unmoulded
C17 framing exposed internally: unchamfered floor joists laid flat. Those in
the service room to left are larger and reused from a C16 building. Back-to-
back lintelled open fireplaces.
