House. C18, mid and late C19. Lined stucco on squared flint
footings, side hung slate to gable, and slated roof. Two storeys,
3 x 1 bays front block of symmetrical plan about a central stair
hall, linked to earlier parallel 2-bay rear block, and wing of late
C19 to right rear. Central 6-panelled door with shaped metal
canopied porch on cast iron ornamental supports. Six-light sashes.
Roof hipped with pebbledashed stacks to rear wall. Rear block has
one C18 three-light leaded window.
Interior has early C19 stair with hardwood handrail and shutters
panelled shutters in window reveals. Rear block has stack with
oven, and early C17 carved overmantel, apparently formed in 1896
from elaborate panelling and set in early C17 oak cornice.
