Cowhouse and granary. Probably C17. Coursed stone rubble, stone slate and
corrugated iron roof. One and a half storeys, 3 bays, 3 evenly spaced
entrances, chamfered central doorway, ledged doors in front gable end with
pitching door above centre, small oak-framed 2-light window to right hand
side. Interior: very wide span, typical of the area, requires 3 rows of
purlins; raking struts to rafters. The triple entrance arrangement occurs
frequently in these parts, eg cowhouse at Upper House Farmhouse, Bacton (qv).
