adjoining buildings

Large irregularly planned house; mid to late C19 of more than one build.
Coursed sandstone on plinth, rendered with incised stucco; corner pilasters.
Roofs mostly welsh slate with central chimneys and some stone copings. 2
storeys with cellars. Some gables have open pediment decoration. Stone
surrounds to doors and windows, all sashes without glazing bars. South end has
canted bay window to ground floor rear; tall, paired, stair windows with
semicircular heads to front. Single-storey range of outbuildings under
graduated slate roof adjoins at north end.
