G.V. II

Gardener's Cottage. 1838-40. By A. Salvin. Jacobean revival
style. Brick with plain tile roof. Deep bracketed eaves, 2
banded and corniced gable stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Square
plan. Windows are cross and mullioned leaded casements. East
front has to right, C20 lean-to porch with concrete tile roof.
Central doorcase, rebated pilasters and carved brackets to
cornice. Above it, panel on strapwork bracket with hood mould,
containing encircled 'S' Above again, panel with Arms.
Flanked by single windows. Above, 2 windows.
